Environmental Information Technology Manager
Valley Forge, PA

Environmental Standards, Inc., a leader in developing innovative solutions to client environmental liabilities, has an Environmental Information Technology Manager position available at Valley Forge, PA office.  Since our inception in 1987, we have enjoyed long-term relationships with Fortune 500 companies and continue to provide high-quality environmental consulting services using emerging science and technologies.

The successful candidate will direct the technical management of environmental data management projects.  The following responsibilities are associated with this position:

  • Prepare client proposals.
  • Supervise staff.
  • Manage project budgets.
  • Perform solution training, demonstrations, and presentations to clients.
  • Perform relationship building with existing and prospective clients.
  • Participate in marketing efforts.
  • Report directly to the Director of the Information Technologies Group.

Desired technical qualifications and experience include the following:

  • 10 years environmental data management experience.
  • BS degree or higher in an Environmental discipline, Computer Science, Database Management.
  • Experience with the following software - Enterprise level environmental Data Management systems- EQuIS (a must), Oracle, MS SQL Server, ESRI products, MS Access, Visual Basic, MS Office.
  • Strong interest in proactively helping clients solve problems.
  • Project planning and management skills.
  • Ability to interact with multiple clients.
  • Technical IT background with an emphasis on relational database, GIS and web delivery.
  • Organized detail oriented candidate who communicates clearly and works productively within a collaborative team environment.
  • Light travel for client management and support.
  • Strong marketing and sales capabilities a plus.
