Environmental Standards sediment management services combine the
expertise and experience of environmental professionals from our
Consulting Geosciences, Information
Technology, and Environmental
Chemistry departments to support complex remedial investigation/design
projects. Projects typically involve the removal, treatment, and
disposal of contaminated sediments, including PCBs, PAHs, metals,
dioxins, and other constituents of concern. We provide services
to better characterize and visualize the environmental contaminants,
to assist in the volume and cost projections for remediation, and
to assist in negotiations with state and federal agencies. In addition,
we provide comprehensive quality assurance oversight during sampling
and characterization.
We have handled large-scale projects for Fortune companies along
the Upper Hudson, Lower Hudson, Delaware, Pasaic, Housatonic, and
Fox Rivers and in Newark Bay, Lake Oswego, Lake Charles, and the
Port of Seattle.
Our specific sediment management offerings
include:
- Project-wide Quality Oversight
- Sampling Plan Development and Implementation
- Database Management
- Visualization and Modeling of the Contaminant Plume
